Cubs work for the Cub Scout Adventure Award and the Cub Scout Adventure Crest. The Cub Scout Challenge is optional for older Cubs. Activities within these awards include first aid, knotting, local knowledge, flags and countries, cooking, pioneering, nature, tracking, and much more.
Proficiency Badges may be gained individually from a wide range of topics.
Pack nights are a mixture of games, test work, and the introduction of new skills. Opportunities are taken to include visits to and receive visits from the local community.
The Packs aim to attend three weekend camps each year, and they join in the District events which include football matches (there is a District league and Cubs receive football training), other athletic activities, outings, skills days, Church services and parades.
Under the leadership of a Sixer and Seconder, cubs are organised in "sixes".
