Intrepid Explorers - Some of 2005 Activity Highlights

The Sun Run's a 26 mile run - overnight! This is the length of a marathon, so, just to make it interesting, we took part in the Tug-of-War (lost) and the footie competition (won!)... Solihull Scout Network came too!

Barmouth/Cader Idris A bunch of Intrepid Explorer Scouts braved snow, power cuts, and the contents of Andy's iPod to walk up big hills and have snow ball fights!

Snowdon - This was a District Explorer Mountaineering Weekend in November 2005. It was a tad damp in places...

Our Summer Camp this year was in the Gower in South Wales. Surfing, Wind Surfing, Power Kites, Power Boats, Coasteering, and more!

Early March, 42 miles over Cannock Chase. In a day! And we got second place in the Explorer Age Group - with the younger team!

32 Scouts, Explorer Scouts, and Leaders went Skiing and Snowboarding in Scotland over February Half Term, 2005...

More climbing ! This was at Birchin Edge in the Peak District - famous for its Nelson Monunement - and we were there on the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar!
